Right and Wrong

Reading the headlines these days, you might think we've become a 3rd world company where the politicians routinely line their own pockets, manipulate the media and shut down any opposition. And, that impression may be truer than we'd like to acknowledge. The problem is we are quickly losing our way. Our political leadership has a growing sense of entitlement (rather than serving us...we are to serve them), and no longer seem to have any guiding principles of what is right and wrong. If we cannot correct this, we aren't far from the tipping point where we can slide downhill as a country pretty fast.

It is in the difficult times when character really matters.

Get Out of Debt Free

The news is full of stories about how the government is going to bail out certain sgments of the population (deliquent home owners, UAW members, investment bankers, banks...and the list goes on), but what about the rest of us??? It seems to me that we are losing our way.

I have always been suspicious of those "get out of debt free" ads all over radio and TV...but now it seems that has become the standard for those who fail to be responsible and choose to live above their means.

If that is the case, why should any of us takr responsibility for our debt... seems to me the best place to be today is living the high life on somebody else's dollar.

But, what would your Grandmother say if she knew you were that shiftless?
